Rumor has it that the input impedance of a GS-35B used in a cathode-driven, grounded-grid linear amplifier is about 35 ohms in parallel with 17pF. On HF, it is a fact that a properly tuned and loaded g-g GS-35B exhibits a reasonable approximation of a 50 ohm input impedance with simple capacitive input coupling.
