GS-1b
TRIODE
The GS-1b triode fulfills generation and amplification functions in grounded-grid circuits in continuous wave operation in the decimetric and metric wavelength ranges. It is physically identical to the GS-31b, but has minor electrical differences. It's projected operational life is >250 hours, 25% of the GS-31's projected 1000+ hours. As with most Russian power triodes, the heat sink on the GS-1b is removable. The GS-1b without a radiator is designated GS-2b. A little-seen variant, the GS-1b-1, exists; it has minor physical differences and a higher input capacitance than the GS-1b. A drawing and capacitance values for the GS-1b-1 appear at the bottom of this page. |
