GS-34 |
Triode |
The GS-34 triode is rated for power amplification up to 3,000 MHz.
The GS-34 is without heatsink. The GS-34-1 has a 50mm diameter anode cooler, and
the GS-34-2 has a 25mm diameter version. This tube is capable of thermally stable performance
at 23cm up to approximately 200W (as high as 400W if used for low duty cycle modes like SSB)
and, potentially, 13cm with similar characteristics (150W and 250W, respectively), with
thermal drift as described. It's an excellent tube for use at lower frequencies, and should
be electrically substituable for the GI-7B in PA circuitry while providing significantly more
gain, at 15dB or better!!
